XXX. Live

I just lost my Live Electronics virginity.

The electronic trio that I lead performed at our School of Music wide combo concert earlier this evening.

I was running Reason as a live sound program (on computer), combining improvisation along with sequenced materials.
Nick was utilizing loop and distortion pedals, as well as other EFX boxes for his guitar.
Rachel and I then hit all of the saxophone melodies. So, I ended up moving back and forth between sax and computer throughout the tune.

We remixed a track of the newest UNI Jazz Band One, one that I mentioned earlier called "Blue in a Red State."

It was pretty ridiculous. I've never been so nervous for a performance in my life.

Things went really well. I'm definitely anxious to hear the recording.
